I am giving away a set of four quilted coasters made my The Molly Patch. The picture here is of one set, but if you win, I will email you photos of the other choices. I love choices. They are 4 inches square and come in lots of styles. If you don't win and would like to buy some, let me know!
So here's how to win. Be the first to write a comment. That's an automatic win. The next winner will be chosen from at random from those who leave a comment. You can comment about anything, but please, try to keep the love-fest of me to a minimum. I know I'm awesome, we don't all have to gush. You have until the 305th post to comment on this post before I chose a winner. (For those who don't want to count posts, that will happen on Monday or Tuesday.)

I was wondering what you were going to do for the big #300!
You already know I think you're awesome, clever, witty, smart, beautiful and sassy!
This is the first blog I have read of yours and it was very funny, which is probably why I like you so much. I like your sense of humor. Is that weird to tell another girl and not feel like it is a pick up line. Anyways see you at book club. Are you done with the book yet?

Jana, I love the coasters. I'd love to buy a set and would you share with me how to make them? They'd make a great hostess gift.

Okay, I've seen the coasters in person and want a set for my office. Throw my name in the mix!! I guess I could just steal one of the sets . . . but where's the fun in that? Perhaps I should remove my name from the pot and just ask for some for Christmas . . . Anyway, they are very cool.
Those are really cute coasters, a project far beyond my ability level.
Congratulations - 300th!!!
Those coasters are great!
You're hilarious. Here is my poem entitled, "Tribute to Jana":
O remember the days gone by,
The days of Cannon Center pie.
O remember sleuthing the campus of BYU at night,
Remember cougars don't cut corners, right?
But Jana dear we love you so,
Your creative juices do clearly flow.
So remember us when you are a cross-stitching queen,
For of you, my dear, we are quite keen.
The twins say hello. You can see their photos at www.flickr.com/photos/eddiebosberg.
Hello
First time here . Would like to know how you check your stats??? Weren't you supposed to buy a new jacket if you loose 10 lbs? Is it fall after all !!! lol Congrats on the 10 lbs : I'll diet too one day! lol
Hey, those are cool. Are you selling them on eBay? I'm going to try to sell some hand-knit scarves. Maybe we could open a needlework store... Or if they don't sell maybe I'll give them to you to giveaway for your 400th lol.
BTW, I certainly hope family is not eligible to win (Jonny!)
Man, I don't think we'll ever get to 300 posts! So congrats to you for your perseverance, and excellent sense of humor! :-)
Jana, great fun to read since I have felt so out of touch the past few months.---
choose me!!!!!!
OK #12 I am hoping I am lucky on this one.
Now it's your turn to comment on my blog!! BTW, those are cute coasters. But I have no idea what I'd do with them! They'd end up a toy for the boys....most likely! I sure like blankets though! hehe. How's the girl lovin' dance class?
I love my beautiful daughter-in-law and my talented son and their wonderful children. I want the coasters!
Love, Grandpa
Jana,
I thought long and hard about how I could win these coasters. And I thought about playing the "you're the coolest, nicest, bestest looking, funnest" angle. But then I thought, "No, she already knows all that."
So, at the risk of sounding vulnerable and stylistically deficient, I'm going to play the "I'm a lonely single guy with lonely single roommates" angle... i.e. pity. So, here goes:
There are two places in my house where coasters would be especially useful.
1) At my computer, where I currently use a piece of cardboard, and
2) In my room on my working desk, where I've been using an ugly green handkerchief that they gave us at "Adventures Unlimited" after we'd completed their little ropes course at a YSA activity.
I need some coasters. Real ones. Made out of... knitty stuff.
Love, Shane
