A Hurt Finger

Last night, I was putting the finishing touches on several of my Molly Patch items. Namely, I was making the bottoms for the bags. What I do is fairly simple -- I take a heavy cardboard box, cut it, and then cover it with fabric. It makes for a very cute, and very sturdy, bottom. Well, I was ahead of schedule, and feeling really good about that. I was grooving to the Christmas music. And then, it happened. The exacto knife slipped. Ouch. It really hurt. I did not need stitches, but it bled for a long time. Let that be a lesson to you -- don't groove out and cut at the same time.
