And Then There Was One

Patch started Kindergarten today. To say he's excited I fear is an understatement. I couldn't get him to stand still for a picture. He kept wanting to do "Yay!" poses.

Curly works about 7 minutes from home, so he came back for the epic first walk to Kindergarten.
And then Patch ran up the stairs with Mini-me and didn't even look back. The teacher at the door said, "Well, there you go!" My thoughts exactly. He is going to love Kindergarten.
So all I have left at home is Ginger. She makes a surprising amount of noise for a 20 month old. And did you know she could say, "No thanks!" As in: Ginger, let's change your diaper. No thanks! Or: Ginger, it's time for your nap. No thanks!

Mommy won the nap argument, and now it is time to throw in a load of laundry and sew a little. It's so quiet, I may start talking to myself again.

I'm guessing you won the diaper argument too! Enjoy the quiet. Hope your son enjoys school!

Do you think you could have found bigger backpacks? I can't wait to talk to you tomorrow and she how he did. They should put him in charge of the booster club.
