Ginger

Ginger is mostly a sweet, gentle child. She loves to hold hands and give kisses. She repeats a lot of what I say and has a rapidly growing vocabulary. She also has the worst temper in the world. Case in point: On Sunday after Sacrament Meeting, I said "Okay, let's go to nursery!" She started to cry. She said "No!" as forcefully as she could. When she saw that she could not change my mind, she decided to lay down in the middle of the aisle, kicking and screaming the entire time. Several people took pity and the poor mommy who had a temper tantruming toddler and offered assistance. Like Cousin Eddie's dog in Christmas Vacation, I have found that when she gets in one of her moods, it's best to just let her finish. Her temper is one reason I love her afternoon naps. It's also why I'm grateful I don't drink.

My dishwasher arrives today. Could it possibly get any better?

"when she gets in one of her moods, it's best to just let her finish" I am sure my Mom says that about me, too :)
Looking forward to your tutorial on Friday!

Yeah, the meltdowns. Makes you appreciate the times when one isn't happening (lol). How could so much cuteness though have such tantrums? You surely are exaggerating Mum! (lol)

Oh that story brings back memories.. I had a friend who was a single dad of a little girl who would do the same thing even at 5 years old. She started to have a tantrum in Walmart in the cart one day.. So he laid down in the aisle of walmart and started to have his own tantrum screaming and kicking and throwing his arms about.. She stopped and stared at him in shock and embarassment.. He stopped and looked at her and asked her. Were you embarassed? Did I look silly? She replied yes. He said now you know just how you look every time you do the same thing. She NEVER did it again.
