Form of Torture

I know why sleep deprivation is a form of torture. Ginger has had stellar nights where she sleeps from about 10 pm until 6 am. But in the past 8+ months, those nights have numbered less than a dozen. In the past 6 weeks, I have gotten sick 3 times. I went to the doctor yesterday to get a prescription, and she said that until I get some sleep, I'll keep getting sick. Why, oh why, won't Ginger take a bottle?

I didn't go to my weigh in this week, because of my swollen throat and glands, but I did get weighed at the doctor. It looks like I've lost another pound and a half. I was really looking forward to working out this week, too. Oh well, there's always next week, right?

Happy September everyone. Just one more month and we're in the holiday season. I can't wait to put up my Halloween village this year. I think I'll put it up before October 1st. I wonder if Target has their display up? I think a visit is in order. Patch does need some new shoes.

I hope you're soon on the mend. Maybe Ginger needs to spend a night in the basement where you can't hear her.

I sooo know what sleep deprivation is. My son was a shocking sleeper EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I am happy to say he is now a great sleeper (he is now 4 but for the first 18 months he wasn't good). I must say even when he was still waking once a night it felt like a major achievement. My son would not take a bottle or dummy/pacifier. We just went straight to sipper cup things. they were much easier than bottles. I truely hope you get some sleep soon. Yes I was also sick a lot. I kept getting sore throats.

Hang in there...would say it gets better, but I'm still patiently waiting for full nights sleep and it's only been 5 years... yeah definitely a form of torture!
